PRIVATE BEGINNER COURSE
Private beginner classes can be started all year round, contact us and we will find a program that suits you. We have indoor facilities until March so the weather is not a problem during the winter. Private classes include four lessons.
EQUIPMENT
We have clothes for the weather, clubs that you can borrow and if you have your own equipment, bring it. We usually recommend waiting a while before buying equipment so we can better know what suits your swing.

Step 1 Contact us via email to info@wistrandgolf.se or phone 0414-27000 (select 3 shop/training activity) to sign up for a beginner's course in a group or private.
Step 2 Fill out a membership application to get a Golf ID (login to golf's digital system). You can do this before your first lesson or when we meet. You can choose to become a member of the club or just take a beginner's course.
Step 3 The next step is to complete the course together with your trainer. (You may do steps 4 and 5 before all the lessons are over).
Step 4 The penultimate step is to take two theoretical knowledge tests. You take these yourself digitally whenever you want during the course. There is material in the form of texts and films to study and you can retake the tests until you pass them.
Step 5 The final step to getting your green card is to pass a test of play on the course with a sponsor (sponsor round). Here you have a dialogue with your coach about when it is reasonable to start playing on the course. A sponsor can be anyone with an hcp of 36 or lower.
On Österlens Golf Club you should always have met a coach before your first sponsored round. As a member of the club you have access to a variety of different activities that we offer here at the club, depending on your age.
PRICE INFORMATION 2026
Cost year 1: 3,200 SEK (for membership and beginner's course in group)
Cost year 1: 3,700 SEK (for membership and private beginner course)
Cost year 2: 5,600 SEK (membership and training in a group or private setting)
Cost year 3: 5,600 SEK (membership and training in a group or private setting)
If you wish to take the course without becoming a member, it costs 2000 SEK and 2500 SEK privately.
Juniors up to 17 years: 2300 SEK (for membership and group beginner course), 2800 SEK (for membership and private beginner course)
Juniors 18-21 years: 3200 SEK (for membership and group beginner course), 3700 SEK (for membership and private beginner course)

FADDER GOLF
We have a fantastic sponsorship program where members from the club take care of all new golfers. Every other Sunday there is sponsorship golf and if you want to play other days or on more occasions with one of our sponsors, they are happy to come along for a round.
A couple of times before the sponsor golf we have training with different themes.
