At the fishing village of Vik, right where the sea meets the land, lie our two scenic courses. On either side of the road, we offer two completely different golf experiences. A hard-to-beat combination in the most beautiful surroundings.
At Lilla Vik, our classic course, you play a fun and leafy park course. Most of the holes challenge you along the shoreline of the Baltic Sea, where the sea breezes are eager to come and play, and around the Skåne meadows by the restaurant you play among apple trees that leave no one untouched, regardless of the season.
ABOUT THE CLUB
Österlens Golf Club was founded in 1945, but long before that golf was played on the beach meadows in Vik. The initiator of the golf club was the provincial doctor Johann Lehmann who took help from the experts Gunnar Tisell, then secretary of the SGF, and Rafael Sundblom, the first Swedish course architect, who was called down from Stockholm. With the help of farmer Edvard Månsson, a 6-hole course was built.

Charging stations on Österlens Golf Club
E.ON Infrastructure has installed three charging posts with six charging points at Lilla Vik, these charging points are in operation. At Djupadal E.ON Infrastructure has also installed three charging posts with six charging points, these charging points will be commissioned in the fall of 2026.

KM weekend 2026: William shows world class!
There have been a number of club championships played this week and one standout stands out in the crowd: Wistrandsson William, who in his final year as a junior showed off a golf game that Österlen never seen before. With rounds of 64, 70, 63, he defended the club championship title (5th victory) and in the run also the junior title. One wonders how long the University of Arizona can keep its golf ace.
There were a total of over 80 players in our championships with lots of personal achievements. Let's start from the beginning: The club's first Hickory KM was held at Lilla Vik a few weeks ago, perhaps even before the first stroke. Orvar Thool, our enthusiastic hickory pioneer, fell ill and had to stay in bed. Free for David Gölén? Not really. Hans Malmström was chasing close behind, but couldn't make it all the way to the front. The largest starting field was the Korthåls-KM at Korta Vik. After 4 laps, Kenneth Håkansson was the winner for the fourth time. He had to fight all the way to the finish line against Tim Olsson Kjellin and his father David Olsson. The final result for the entire starting field could be interpreted as a draw between a junior team and a veteran team.

Nelson Lundgren made HIO hole 11 on Djupadal yesterday, July 22nd. A well-aimed shot with a pitching wedge off the tee made Nelson the first HIO of his life, a big CONGRATULATIONS to Nelson🍾
